Led a team of 25+ comms reports to build and sustain global awareness for Expo 2020. Responsibilities also included reputation management, regional and international press engagement, building strategic programmes to enhance nation participant exposure at the event through key ministerial relationships with many countries including United States, Sweden, Russia, Luxembourg, the Philippines, and The Holy See.

Prior to the pandemic layoffs, I worked with the CEO to structure and consolidate the marketing functions across the Group’s business units including real estate development, asset management, food and beverage, and hotel management to deliver effective and efficient marketing across the organization. I was tasked with developing the launch strategy for CIEL, the world’s tallest hotel tower with a focus on sales in China.
Advisor to CEO
12-month appointment to establish and lead the marketing and communications functions for ADNOC’s latest upstream venture in partnership with the Korean Government, (KNOC & GS Energy), at a critical transition period (from exploration to production) and position the partnership as a successful model for ADNOC’s joint ventures with international governments. I played a lead role in the global campaign when it struck first oil in July 2019, and oversaw the visit by 22 Ministers and Parliament members from the Korean Government during the ceremony.
Assistant Vice President
Planned and manage the Group’s ongoing marketing communications and PR functions including the launch and sales of numerous new developments (Cavalli, Trump Estates Mansions, Residenze Marina, Damac Hills, Akoya), inauguration and opening of 2 Business Bay hotels, and reputation management across the Group. I was also responsible for outreach and development programmes for the family office, reporting to Mr. Hussein Sajwani on multi-million-dollar programmes including ‘One Million Arab Coders’, in partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, Dubai Future Foundation and the Prime Minister’s Office. I oversaw international affairs and positioning of his various philanthropic initiatives including his annual presence at the World Economic Forum, the Trump Organisation, Milken Institute, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Bloomberg Global Conference.

A partner at Egypt’s leading PR firm since 2001, I led business development and growth across the firm’s client base including Emirates Airlines, Amadeus IT, Souq.com (now Amazon.ae), Novartis and Fawry payment gateway. Based out of Miami, I was also exploring growth opportunities while working on various projects in the United States. Advisor to CEO
Worked with the CEO to develop and manage marketing communications and digital programmes for the global debut of the Toyota 86, its first sports car release in 10 years. I supported the world’s first car review with distributors and press in Tokyo and at Fuji International Speedway in December 2011. I worked with teams in Dubai, Tokyo, and Beirut to develop marketing programmes to enable in-country dealer launches for regional distributors which included creative assets, press kits, activation guidelines and POS, branding, digital assets, and media planning.
