On a personal note, I was born a third-culture child in a diplomatic home, and grew up in Paris, Washington DC, Canberra, Houston, and Cairo before moving to Dubai permanently in 1995. Since then, I have spent considerable years living and working in Abu Dhabi, Amman, Kuwait, London, Miami, and Chicago.
