My married legal name is Sarah Welch, but my past credits are as Sarah Heinitz and I continue to go by that professionally.

I have experience in most areas involving post production, but I specialize in video editing, assistant editing, voiceover work, and post-producing. My career path has led me down multiple journeys including:

• Working and living on cruise ships as a broadcast operator and editor

• Manning master control at Fox Sports as a Master Control Operator

• Assisting on scripted and unscripted shows in Los Angeles as Assistant Editor

• Moving up to an Editor position through multiple years at National Geographic, training others on post production workflows and helping to create SOP docs

• 5 years freelancing as an Editor, working freelance gigs and contracts with companies such as National Geographic, Cisco TV, Lucky Dog Films (PBS Kids), and others.

• Functioning as Head of Video Production & Video Editor within the corporate world at Curbio

The habits I formed from the TV industry stuck with me as I shifted to work within the corporate world. Creative problem-solving, trouble-shooting technical difficulties, adjusting to each team’s preferences and workflows, and the need for organization and attention to detail are rooted in how I handle each project. Strong communication is key to me and I tend to lean towards over-communicating.
