BBC America partnered with the popular word puzzle app, Words with Friends, to promote their new nature series, Mammals staring David Attenborough. The clients were doing paid ads on Facebook and Instagram – both Stories and Feed – to promote the activity, focusing on the free Mammals sticker pack. My role was to design the social ads, making people aware of the new nature series, while also generating click throughs from the ads from people wanting to login to Words with Friends to get the free sticker pack.

My role was to design a series of icons visualising the different types of properties offered by Oliver's Travels. These ranged from chateaus, to ski chalets, to family friendly villas, and more.
These vector based icons were used as part of a wider project where the client was completely redoing their website, and were designed to match the company's famous lined stamp design.
Oliver’s Travels are a specialist villa website who list handpicked properties around the world. They started out specialising in castles in France back in 2003, and have grown to feature different styles of properties across many countries.

I spent a year and a half contracted to work 1 day per week for Warner Bros. Discovery. My role was to pick up any motion or graphic design projects the team needed extra support with. During this time I got to collaborate with many producers and other talented designers, on projects ranging from rebranding the channels streaming platform, retouching key art, logo animations and on-screen promo graphics.

The Maternal Mental Health Service (MMHS) is a charity supporting people living in Birmingham and Solihull who have experienced perinatal loss and who experience significant mental health distress. I worked with them to create a series of 3 animations, showing the impact a loss of a pregnancy can have on our lives and guides us to the most appropriate help for our personal needs.

I collaborated with talented editors at the BBC to create a series of promos advertising reruns of the hugely popular show 'Midsomer Murders'. After the promos had been edited, they were handed over to me so I could manipulate the footage to make it look like all the signage in the scenes hinted at the murders from the show. After each brainstorming session with the editors and producers we would choose a selection of the programmes "best" murders for me to composite into the footage. It was my job to find clever ways to build these murders into the environment, using a variety of street signs and posters. After finding existing imagery of signs online, I used Photoshop to manipulate and redesign the images so they incorporated each murder. I then used After Effects to track and composite the signage into the footage.

I created a series of short animations highlighting some of the embarrassing puberty problems young girls experience. This animation series was used to help launch Sweaty Betty's new foundation. The Sweaty Betty Foundation’s mission is to empower women and girls from every background to get active, and stay active, for life. Globally, only 15% of teenage girls are doing enough physical activity. The changes to girls’ bodies, and their confidence, caused by puberty is the biggest reason.

I created this series of lined sketches for an interior architects firm. The illustrations were used as part of a larger pitch to win a contract creating office spaces for their client Unilever. My client had to present a number of potential office spaces, and since they didn't have the time or budget to render 3D architectural mock ups, they hired me to sketch their ideas. For each illustration, the client provided me with moodboard of reference photos featuring existing rooms, objects and furniture. They labelled the parts they wanted me to incorporate into my designs and the parts that needed to be left out. The client often had specific features which they wanted in each room but that they could not source reference photos for, so they described each idea to me and left me to my own creative devices. Since the client needed to show how each space would be used, I had creative freedom to sketch people into each design, using the rooms as per the client's vision.

I created an animation for the charity ‘Respond’, who support family members of people with autism and other disabilities, to help them through the dark moments of lockdown. Thanks to the Government’s extra £750 million coronavirus funding for frontline charities, Respond has produced these videos in collaboration with families with lived experience to help other families get through this unprecedented time.
Motion Designer (Midweight)
At NBCUniversal, I collaborated with talented editors, creatives, and producers to create on-screen graphics, including typography, logos, and end boards. These graphics were featured in film and TV promos broadcasted on the channels.
Motion Designer (Junior)
After graduating I launched my career at Discovery where I designed engaging social media content and animated high-end channel idents for broadcast. My dedication and creativity were recognized early on when I won the 'Best Design Newcomer' title at the Promax Awards after just one year.
