When the social buzz was at its peak, we broke the news that BK was adding a $1 Bacon Cheeseburger to their value menu. Instead of using our digital media budget for ad placements that our target would ignore, we did something no brand had done before: used Venmo to unexpectedly send 250,000 people $1 each.
